Hello! It's so nice to meet you and I really appreciate the time you took to check us out! My name is Christina, and I am so glad you are here.

A little bit about me:

Christina Wassenhove is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Iowa and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois. Additionally, she has received her certification as a First Responder Counselor through the Academy Hour. She is a Navy veteran with 7 years of active service, and has been in the Active Reserve since 2016. She received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Governors State University in 2016, and her Master’s Degree in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration from Western Illinois University in 2021. She began working as a crisis clinician in 2016 with the Robert young Center in Moline. In 2017 she took on a role as a mental health counselor, and in 2020 she opened her own private practice in Davenport, IA. Her specialties include working with military and first responders and adults that have concerns with depression, anxiety and PTSD. She is trained in EMDR therapy and provides education related to emotional support animals.
